Private Thomas Neal

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present, other than that he was probably from England.

Thomas Neal enlisted or was called-up between 1915 and 1917. Initially posted to the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry (Sherwood Rangers) (regimental number not known), in 1917 he was issued Corps of Hussars number 276780.

Later in 1917 or in early 1918 he was attached to the North Irish Horse, joining the 1st NIH Regiment in France (probably in 1918).

On 18 March 1919 Neal was demobilised (or discharged)
